I've had tons of people say I'm a badass or they just don't know how I do it all... The truth is, I have a village of people that support me and I don't have it all together. These comments made me think that Instagram and Facebook are like Spanks... On the surface, everything looks perfect and smooth, however, under those tight stockings, there are things that just shouldn't be seen by the public. It's like when I wake up in the morning or before I go to bed, I look like a 13 year old gangster going through puberty. I have my retainer in, my makeup has been removed, I'm wearing my husband's sweatpants and a shirt I should have thrown away 15 years ago. We need to be honest about who we are, what we're good at and what we're not. It makes us more relatable. We all have our shit show moments or we are constantly on the shit show express (toot, toot). Let's not be distracted or fooled by the filters, likes and followers. Be honest with yourself and with others. Let's be clear, I'm not going to post a picture of me in a retainer anytime soon and I will continue to wear Spanks. This is just my public announcement that I don't have it all together (who does) and I am beyond blessed to have a village that believes in my dream.
